The Sacred Heart School Aftercare program is licensed by the State of Iowa Department of Human Services. We comply with all of the childcare regulations set forth by the Department of Human Services and a copy of the Child Day Care Licensing Standards is available upon request. Our program proudly participates in Iowa’s Quality Rating System (QRS). QRS was developed in Iowa as part of a nation-wide initiative to improve child care quality. The Sacred Heart School Aftercare program's  involvement in this program demonstrates our investment in quality care and education for Iowa’s children. Our program has achieved a QRS Level 2 rating earning additional credits for professional development, environment, health and safety compliance, and family and community partnership. Our high quality, affordable program exceeds State standards and continues to strive for excellence in Early Childhood Education.

The Sacred Heart School Aftercare program offers childcare options for families enrolled in 3yr old preschool, PK4 and Kindergarten classes. We offer a before school program Monday-Friday 7:00-8:00am.  We also offer after school care from 11:00am-5:30pm. Wednesdays we offer a full day option from 7:00am-5:30pm.  Additional hours are available on early dismissal days, no school days, and Christmas/Spring breaks. Some flexibility with scheduling is available.  Please contact Ms. Schmid for more information about our program or scheduling options:
